अंबिकापुर। नगर पालिक निगम अंबिकापुर के नवनिर्वाचित महापौर एवं पार्षदों का शपथ ग्रहण समारोह आज अंबिकापुर में पीजी कॉलेज हॉकी स्टेडियम में संपन्न हुआ। मुख्यमंत्री श्री विष्णु देव साय और विधानसभा अध्यक्ष डॉ. रमन सिंह की उपस्थिति में कलेक्टर श्री विलास भोसकर ने महापौर श्रीमती मंजूषा भगत और पार्षदों को 8-8 के समूह में शपथ दिलाई।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री विष्णुदेव साय ने कहा कि नगर निगम अंबिकापुर का यह शपथ ग्रहण समारोह जनता के विश्वास, लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों और नगर के विकास के प्रति प्रतिबद्धता का प्रतीक है।नगर सरकार अटल विश्वास पत्र में किए गए सभी वादों को पूरा करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।उन्होंने कहा कि जनता ने जिस विश्वास के साथ महापौर और पार्षदों को चुना है, वे उस पर खरा उतरेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि अंबिकापुर को स्वच्छ, स्मार्ट और समृद्ध नगर बनाने के लिए सभी को एकजुट होकर काम करना होगा। विधानसभा अध्यक्ष डॉ. रमन सिंह ने नव निर्वाचित जनप्रतिनिधियों को शुभकामनाएँ देते हुए नगर के विकास में पारदर्शिता और प्रभावी प्रशासन पर जोर दिया।
इस अवसर पर कृषि मंत्री श्री राम विचार नेताम, सरगुजा सांसद श्री चिंतामणि महाराज, अंबिकापुर विधायक श्री राजेश अग्रवाल, लुण्ड्रा विधायक श्री प्रबोध मिंज, छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य युवा आयोग के अध्यक्ष श्री विश्व विजय सिंह तोमर सहित अन्य जनप्रतिनिधिगण और गणमान्य नागरिक उपस्थित थे।
