पति के साथ रहने की मांग करते हुए बीते छह दिनों से तहसीलदार राहुल गुप्ता की पत्नी रेनु गुप्ता और उसकी देवरानी वंदना पटेल गुप्ता बीते 5 दिनों से ससुराल की चौखट पर बैठी हैं। रेनु गुप्ता ने बताया कि पांच दिन से ससुराल की चौखट में बैठे रहने के बावजूद उसे न्याय नहीं मिला है। यहां तक शासन-प्रशासन से कोई मदद नहीं मिली है, बल्कि प्रशासनिक अधिकारी आ भी रहे हैं, तो वे उसे घर (ससुराल) से बाहर जाने के लिए कह रहे हैं। मुझे किसी भी तरह से अपना अधिकार चाहिए, मुझे अपने पति के साथ रहना है। इसके लिए अभी से मैं प्रण लेती हूं कि मैं अन्न-जल का ग्रहण नहीं करुंगी। अगर 48 घंटे के भीतर मुझे मेरे घर में रहने का अधिकार नहीं मिला तो देह दाह कर दूंगी, और इसके जिम्मेदारी ससुराल वालों के साथ शासन-प्रशासन पर होगी।
