रायपुर। राजधानी में जीएसटी चोरी के एक बड़े मामले में स्टेट जीएसटी विभाग ने लोहा कारोबारी अमन अग्रवाल को गिरफ्तार किया है। उस पर फर्जी फर्मों के जरिए 26 करोड़ रुपये के इनपुट टैक्स क्रेडिट (ITC) का घोटाला करने का आरोप है, जिससे राज्य सरकार को भारी राजस्व नुकसान हुआ है।
स्टेट जीएसटी के जॉइंट कमिश्नर नरेंद्र वर्मा के अनुसार, आरोपी ने वित्तीय वर्षों 2023-24 से लेकर 2025-26 तक करीब 262 करोड़ रुपये की खरीदी-बिक्री का बोगस लेन-देन दिखाया। अमन अग्रवाल ने यह लेन-देन फर्जी फर्मों के माध्यम से किया और इनपुट टैक्स क्रेडिट का लाभ उठाकर टैक्स चोरी को अंजाम दिया। जांच में सामने आया कि जिन फर्मों को कारोबार का हिस्सा बताया गया था, वे असल में अस्तित्व में ही नहीं थीं।
अमन अग्रवाल, जो अगस्त्य इंटरप्राइजेज और अग्रवाल इंटरप्राइजेज का संचालक है, पर कुल 10 फर्जी फर्मों के नाम पर व्यापार दिखाकर टैक्स की हेराफेरी करने का आरोप है। उसके खिलाफ जीएसटी एक्ट की धारा 69 और 132(बी) के तहत कार्रवाई की गई है।
